After several years in large-firm practice, Lisa realized that many business owners wanted more than excellent legal advice. They wanted an attorney who understood their business, anticipated issues before they became problems, and served as a trusted advisor rather than someone they called only during a crisis. That philosophy became the foundation for Odom Law Group.

Today, Lisa serves as outside general counsel for many of her business clients, providing ongoing legal guidance that supports day-to-day operations as well as long-term growth. She advises clients on business formation, contracts, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, financing, leasing, risk management, and real estate matters. She also helps individuals and families create thoughtful estate plans, administer trusts, navigate probate, and preserve generational wealth with confidence.

Lisa earned her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law, where she served as Symposium Editor of the Pepperdine Law Review, externed for the Honorable Kathleen Thompson Lax of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and authored a published law review article. She received multiple Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence and CALI Excellence for the Future Awards during law school. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Law and Society, cum laude, from the University of California, San Diego, where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and received Provost Honors.

Throughout her career, Lisa has remained committed to serving both the legal profession and her community. She has taught estate planning at College of the Canyons, served on the Henry Mayo Newhall Foundation Board, volunteered with Soroptimist International of Greater Santa Clarita Valley, and supported numerous community initiatives throughout Santa Clarita. Her professional achievements have been recognized with honors including the Santa Clarita Valley 40 Under 40 Award and the San Fernando Valley Business Journal’s Trusted Advisor – Attorney of the Year Award.
