ODOM LAW GROUP, APLC | Here to protect what’s important to you.
Service speaks to Katie N. Simers.
Katie’s work as an Associate Attorney with Odom Law Group echoes the origins of her career as a State of Ohio Certified Pharmacy Technician: while the nature of her service today is different, the goal remains the same. Help people, do good.
Upon leaving her native Ohio for Southern California, Katie focused on community first. She served the Santa Clarita Valley with her work at a local healthcare nonprofit for nearly five years. After seeing so many patients struggle to secure healthcare services there, she knew she had to do more – and took the leap into law.
Katie’s passion for helping people defined her experience as an Associate Attorney at the Law Offices of top civil rights and award-winning trial attorney Dale K. Galipo. The compassion and integrity driving his practice inspires her own, fueling an already bottomless drive to inspire actionable, real-world resolutions to her clients’ challenges – always with professionalism, with integrity, and with kindness.
Katie also spent approximately eight months working on matters relating to personal injury, products liability, and premises liability throughout the litigation process. Additionally, since the beginning of her tenure as an attorney, Katie has, and is currently, admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
“From the receptionist to the paralegals, to the lawyers themselves this firm is fantastic. Lisa and her team have helped me with legal matters with my business to protect my estate for generations to come. I will always turn to Odom Law Group and I recommend you do too!”
— Thomas Henson
Every step of her experience has strengthened her resolve: Katie is fierce. She is uncompromising. And she is your advocate.
Katie completed her Juris Doctor at Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. In her time there, she earned her a place on the Loyola of Los Angeles Law Review as both the Chief Production Editor for the journal and a published author. Katie was also selected to participate in Loyola’s year-long Poehls/Hobbs District Attorney Practicum and throughout her time in law school and after taking the bar exam, she honed her experience as a law clerk in a variety of settings to diversify her experience.
Katie joined the California State Bar in 2020.
