Real Estate Law
Real estate law refers to real property and the area of law that governs how real property can be used, sold, and acquired. Subsumed in this area of law are things like zoning, taxes, relation to estate planning, deeds, titles, financing, leases, tenancy, and more. Primarily, when discussing real estate law, we are referring to state or local laws with only a few applicable federal laws. Different transactions, however, can be regulated by different laws.
As real estate attorneys, our focus is to assist clients by anticipating changes in real estate, development, and even finance, including representing landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting office, retail, and industrial leases.
